Department of Constitutional, International and Criminal Law

The Department of Constitutional, International and Criminal Law is a structural unit of Vasyl’ Stus Donetsk National University. The mission of the Department is to form a professional person who is integrated into society, a specialist lawyer.

Vision of the Department:

– leading structural unit of the Faculty of Law, part of the university family;

– socially responsible partner for internal and external stakeholders;

– worldview space, which provides an opportunity to work, study, self-realize on the principles of academic freedom and integrity, corporate and professional ethics, dignity, patriotism.

The purpose of the Department’s development is to improve the quality and student-orientation of the educational process, research through the growth of scientific and pedagogical skills of employees, the introduction of modern information and communication technologies and the development and implementation of new educational programs.

Improving the educational space (improving the quality and student-orientation of the educational process, the introduction of a competency-based approach to learning, the focus of the educational process on the formation and development of subject and key competencies in higher education, ensuring the practical orientation of the disciplines of the Department)
